Ann Marie is a graduate of Appalachian State University and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association. She has over thirty years of experience working with variety of settings, including, home health, private practice, nursing home, convalescent homes, neuro-care units , acute and outpatient hospital settings. Most recently she was the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro,N.C. where she worked with pediatrics, adolescents,adults and geriatric population. She has experience with voice disorders, articulation, phonological disorders, language, fluency, aphasia, apraxia, swallowing deficits, cognitive deficits and myofunctional therapy. Ann Marie has specialized training and work with Videostroboscopy, Modified Barium Swallow Studies, head and neck cancer treatment, Passé-Muir and Myofascial Release with voice and head/neck cancer patients.
