Brittany is a speech-language pathologist who was born

and raised in Southern California. She attended
University of California, Santa Barbara for her Bachelor’s
Degree in Communication and Psychology and later
received her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at
San Diego State University. Brittany decided to be closer
to her family and relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina.

She is passionate about travelling around the United States; as well as, to other
countries. She wishes to continue to learn about the diversity of different cultures. In
her travels she has noticed the universal importance of communication in the lives of
every human. In her work, she hopes to bring the power of connecting to the world
with communication to individuals that may not otherwise be able to.

She enjoys working in a variety of settings with a variety of age groups; however, her
passion is working with pediatrics. She has experience with several disabilities, such
as Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability,
Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders, Stuttering,
etc. She also has learned and gained experience in behavioral strategies when
working with children with high behavioral needs. She believes working with families
and supporting the child’s environment is the key to success in addressing
communication needs of young children. She is continuously keeping current with
research and never stops learning!

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, photography
and mixed media art, spending time at the beach, and working out.
